Masa Fuchi vs. Toshiaki Kawada (PWF Jr. Title, 9/15/87)

- Early on, they set this up as Fuchi getting the better of the young Kawada. Fuchi controls on the mat and counters any attempt by Kawada. However, Kawada gives us a glimpse of his stiff nature with a nice clothesline. Unfortunately, Kawada does not appear to be able to follow up with anything interesting and relies heavily on the chinlock. The end run was really fun with both guys trying to put each other away. However, it goes to the outside and Kawada hits a German suplex outside and when he tries to follow with a plancha, Fuchi moves out of the way and into the ring. At this point, Fuyuki comes in and attacks Fuchi. Is this the beginning of Footloose? I am on the fence as far as the match goes. It had some nice stuff from Fuchi early on and the hot ending. However, it also had a lost Kawada and the crap ending. I’ll nominate it for discussion but I don’t think it goes far.

Masa Fuchi vs. Shinichi Nakano (PWF Jr. Title, 10/31/87)

- I liked the Kawada match better and that was barely a nomination. This one took about twenty minutes but Nakano has been one of those guys I have a ton of apathy towards. Nakano even pulls out the same German Suplex on the floor spot from the Kawada match. This time, both men are counted out though. No vote.

Jumbo Tsuruta, Kabuki & Ricky Fuyuki vs. Tenyru, Ashura Hara & Toshiaki Kawada (08/21/87)

- This was originally a tag match but Kawada and Fuyuki joined the fray and it became a six-man. The actual match was ok but not enough time to develop into anything more than a sprint.
