All Japan Classics 156

Stan Hansen vs. Hiroshi Wajima (PWF Title, 9/15/87)

- Wajima is another one of those guys I don’t care for. I think I am thrown off by the long torso and the stubby legs. Hansen has so many great matches. This isn’t one of them. This is just there. Wajima is counted out and Hansen wins the match.

Road Warriors vs. Jumbo Tsuruta & Yoshiaki Yatsu (10/30/87)

- Yatsu hits a SWEET piledriver on Hawk and Hawk not only no-sells it but springs up to his feet less than a second after his head made contact with the mat. However, Yatsu returns the favor later by selling the Doomsday Device for about 15 seconds before making his comeback. The match ends in a double countout.

Road Warriors vs. Jumbo Tsuruta & Hiroshi Wajima (10/31/87)

- After watching this match, I wonder why the NWA didn’t try and push a Flair-Animal matchup. Animal sells better, he allows wrestlers to get the better of him, his offense has always been fun. Anyway, more of the same as the Warriors abuse the antives and win the match when WAjima can’t make it back into the ring.

Giant Baba & Hiroshi Wajima vs. Abdullah the Butcher & TNT (12/4/87)

- I get my wish of seeing more TNT and it is against Wajima… just what I wanted. This wasn’t good.
