Posted March 28, 200817 yr comment_5430129 All Japan Classics 84 Chavo Guerrero v. Ultra 7 (NWA Int'l Jr Title, 5/26/83) - This is JIP but I think it was released on a G+ show recently so I’ll have to see if that one is complete. This shows about 14 minutes. Harley Race v. Giant Baba (PWF Title, 2/11/83 in St. Louis) - It took about ten minutes for Baba to hit the Hart Attack clothesline and pin Race clean in St. Louis. This was over too son and the ending came out of the blue so the match never had a chance to build. Giant Baba v. Umanoseke Ueda (3/3/83) - Early on, Ueda puts Baba in a leglock but Baba allows the hold to continue even though he is long enough to easily reach the ropes. Odd decision. At the same time, his legs are also long enough so he could kick Ueda in the face when he felt like it. This match feels like it is in aholding pattern until they inevitably end up outside where Ueda should do his patented out of control brawling. However, Baba turns the tide and slams Ueda on the table. The 2nd half of the match is a battle between Ueda using his foreign object and Baba damaging Ueda’s arm with jumping armbars. I guess his arm was too damaged because the ref calls for the bell. Weird.
