Nightmares v. Rock and Roll Express (1/4/85?)

This was a bunch of fun as Nightmares have a lot of fun heel stooge spots, and nasty offense when they take over. Especially Ken Waynes hogtie faceplant. Rock and Rolls are the Rock and Rolls. Put a smile on my face

Terminators v. Dirty White Boys (2/18/85)

Both teams spent this match crowbaring each other, it was fun sloppiness, but not actually good. Terminators really sucked. Still probably worth watching for the potatos

Adrian Street v. Randy Savage (2/18/85)

This was three minutes long, which was Savage throwing Street around, but Linda grabbing his leg on a suplex

Fabs v. Interns (2/18/85)

Long hiding the foriegn object stalling to start. Finish was hot, but it took way too long to get there. I say no

Southern Tag Titles Tournament – Round 1: The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. The Nightmares (Danny Davis & Ken Wayne) (1/14/85)

This was a damn good match between two teams that had really good chemistry together and I wished there was a good long feud between them because it would’ve been great stuff. Both teams are really sharp here especially the Nightmares who are great foil team for the RnR and this also had Gibson as the FIP, which I always like as the contrast to the formula. Definitely moves forward.

Losers Leave Town: The Terminators (Rigs & Wolf) vs. The Dirty White Boys (Tony Anthony & Len Denton) (2/18/85)

Yeah these two teams beat up on each other here especially the Terminators who were trained by Eddie Sharkey and he taught his guys to be hard hitting. There was really no heat as DWB’s just weren’t babyface material and the Jimmy Hart imposter TH Hart at ringside didn’t help the cause.

Then we get a Fabs video to Loverboy by Billy Ocean.

Exotic Adrian Street vs. “Macho Man” Randy Savage (2/18/85)

This was a wild brawl that went 3 minutes and ended with Linda tripping Macho to win.

Southern Tag Titles: The Interns (Don Bass & Dirty Rhodes) © vs. The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) (2/18/85)

Dream Machine using the PA to air out his frustrations was great especially when the Fabs was using their foreign object and switchouts behind Jerry Calhoun’s back. Interns trying to use the mic stand was funny and it was interesting for this match to have so much schtick early on considering how heated the feud was. The mic stand was finally used on Lane and that started the Interns control section where they would use a chain to choke and batter Lane. Keirn would get upset and grabbed a fan’s cane where he would start battering the Interns and overturned Dream in his wheelchair. They would brawl on the floor but Calhoun would let this match continue and not DQ them. Lane would get the tag to Keirn but Calhoun didn’t see it so an Intern knocked the other one out by mistake so he just laid down and took his spot. The Fabs then did their own switcharoo and Keirn faked being Lane so an Intern tried to suplex him in the ring and he would counter into a cradle to win the match. Sure there was a lot of schtick going on early but I liked this one enough to throw it on the block.
