All Japan Classics 132

Hiro Saito vs. Masa Fuchi (6/12/86)

- Saito attacks Fuchi before he gets into the ring and Fuchi is bleeding from the ear right off the bat. Saito responds by kicking the shit out of the ear. Then he punches the ear and then kicks it again. This is so simple and I am loving it. Saito drops Fuchi with a NICE piledriver that Fuchi starts convulsing from but Fuchi kicks out. Fuchi continues to be my new favorite wrestler as he fights back after 7 minutes of being abused and that cut is looking nasty. Fuchi on offense was just random moves but I think he was just trying to stop Saito anyway he could. Saito feels like he has Fuchi damaged enough where he tries to put him away with a nice array of offense including a missed senton and a fisherman’s suplex. On the outside, they have a great sequence as Saito is trying to get in the ring but Fuchi gives him a back suplex while Saito is on the apron. As Saito is trying to ge tin the ring, Fuchi is rammed backwards and inadvertently elbows the referee for an All Japan ref bump. WTF??? This allows Saito to smack Fuchi in the chair for a near fall. This is great shit and the quiet crowd is now really getting into the match. However, Fuchi has taken too much damage and Saito puts him away with a German suplex pin. This was not a typical All Japan match but I loved nearly every minute. Seriously, I don’t know if this will make the set but I will fight for it.

Road Warriors vs. Shoehi Baba & Motoshi Okuma (05/31/86)

- Okuma gets abused and is quickly disposed of.

Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Tiger Jeet Singh (06/12/86)

- Singh gets DQed after punching the ref. What a waste of flesh.

Genichiro Tenryu & Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Road Warriors (06/07/86)

- Very similar to the 1987 match I nominated but I don’t think we need both. This one seemed a little more subdued and not as crisp. The Roadies sell more than they usually do and the natives got in more offense than most teams are allowed to. However, Tenryu gets double teamed and pinned after a Hawk clothesline. No vote here.

Giant Baba vs. Rusher Kimura (06/12/86)

- Man, this wasn’t very good. I think these guys make better tag partners against young upstart tag team.

Hiro Saito vs. Masa Fuchi (6/12/86)

Hiro attacks Fuchi before the bell injuring his ear which starts bleeding and Hiro viciously works the cut. Fuchi's convulsion sell of Hiro's piledriver was awesome and woke the fans up here as they started chanting his name but Hiro was still too powerful to stop. Fuchi would get a backdrop suplex and that would give him the chance to go on offense as blood just streamed down his face from his ear and he started throwing bombs to get Hiro on the mat. Fuchi then hit an enzuigiri sending Hiro to the floor where he would hit him with a piledriver as revenge and now he has his mojo back. Fuchi is rolling now with the fans on his side until Saito would get a German Suplex hold out of a cobra twist. After a missed diving senton by Hiro, both men had chances to put the other away but it would go back to the floor where Hiro would hit a slingshot plancha but Fuchi would hit a backdrop suplex on Hiro as he was on the apron to get back in the ring first. There would be a ref bump though allowing Hiro to jab Fuchi with a steel chair leading to Hiro finally putting Fuchi away with a German Suplex hold. Kobayashi would come out after the match and brawled a little with Hiro as well. This was a total blast with great blood and solid work from both men and this easily moves forward.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Giant Baba & Motoshi Okuma (5/31/86)

Okuma gets destroyed.

Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Tiger Jeet Singh (6/12/86)

What do you expect from a Tiger Jeet match a DQ of course.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Genichiro Tenryu & Jumbo Tsuruta (6/7/86)

The Roadies were becoming better wrestlers and more cooperative as they were giving the natives more offense than in the past and selling more. This was the best match I've seen from the Roadies here so far but it's lacking something as far as a nomination goes although we did get a clean finish.

Giant Baba vs. Rusher Kimura (6/12/86)

This was fun for what it was.
