Posted April 4, 200817 yr comment_5430421 All Japan Classics 128 Ted Dibiase/Ron Bass vs. Motoshi Okuma/Rocky Hata (04/06/86) - Just a tag match. Dibiase wins with a powerslam in about 8 minutes. Kuniaki Kobayashi vs. Masa Fuchi (04/06/86) - Tthis one wastets no time in getting underway as Kobayashi throws Fuchi out of the ring and attacks him with a chair. After being thrown out a 2nd time, Fuchi tries to get back in the ring but Kobayashi just punts him in the head. That looked ugly. Later in the amtch, Fuchi takes it to the outside and ddoes his best Stone Cold impersonation and whips Kobayashi into the rail, brawls through the crowd and around the ring, busting Kobayashi up in the process. After Fuchi works on the cut, they go into a hot back and forth stretch that ends when Fuchi gets his revenge form earlier and pummels Kobayashi with a chair. The ref tries to stop him and Fuchi ends up disqualified. Bad ending aside, this was a s good as your typical Mid South brawl. Nomination. Tenyru/Takashi Ishikawa vs. Ted Dibiase/Ron Bass (04/19/86) - Another decent tag match that ends when Tenryu pins Bass after a corner roll-up. Genichiro Tenyru vs. Ashura Hara (04/12/86) - This had some nottable spots that stodd out when the match was heating up. Tenryu is on the apron but gets rammed off, flips over the rail and lands under a table. That was a pretty cool visual. Next, Hara had Tneryu on his shoulders but Tenryu flips him over in what appears to be a nearfall. As Tenryu is wondering what happened, he turns around and gets laid out with a lariat. However, Tenryu had already won the match so Hara is pissed. I am torn here because there was some cool stuff but most of it happened at the end of the match. I am going no right now with the right to change my mind later.
