The Fabulous Ones v. Kareem Muhammad & Mystery Man (5/20/85)

Mystery man was Don Bass under one of his Assassin hoods wearing Bundy's singlet. Kind of a dull match, with a little brawling at the end.

Randy Savage v. Jerry Oski (5/20/85)

Not the match Bix pimped as this was nothing special, Oski took some bumps, but Savage was sleepwalking through this.

Jerry Lawler v. Brusier Brody (5/20/85)

The ref was on the outside for this match. I am no Brody fan, but this was a bunch of fun, as it is your basic Lawler v. a Giant match, Brody's stuff is stiff enough, and Lawler takes a nice beating before firing back, I especially dug Lawler ducking and weaving around Brody's punches. Fun stuff, and worth a nomination

Sheepherders v. Battens (6/10/85)

Extended Squash, I do like Boyd a bunch here though

Billy Joe Travis & Ron Sexton v. Tracy Smothers & Speedy Tall Tree (6/3/85)

Travis and Sexton are Buddy Wayne managed heels here, and beat on Smothers until the Fabs run in

The Fabulous Ones v. Bruiser Brody & Kareem Muhammad (6/3/85)

Two minutes of brawling until Sexton, Travis and Wayne run in

Koko Ware & Norvell Austin v. Jerry Oski & Tojo Yamamoto (6/10/85)

Fine match, but nothing blow away or nom worthy. PYT's ar fun

Bruiser Brody v Jerry Lawler (6/10/85)

Pretty JIP and what was shown was all about Lawler arguing with the heel ref. Nothing to see here.

Southern Tag Titles: The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) © vs. Mr. Kareem Muhammad & Mystery Man (Don Bass) (5/20/85)

This was a different match to say the least and quite the styles clash.

Southern Heavyweight Title: “Macho Man” Randy Savage © vs. Jerry Oske (5/20/85)

JIP from MSC.

No ref in the ring: Jerry Lawler vs. Bruiser Brody (5/20/85)

Very fun to watch Lawler work against Brody as Lawler wasn’t afraid to sell a beating and Brody wasn’t scared to deliver them. Brody pounds Lawler bloody but soon enough Lawler would start his comeback just firing shots on Brody before taking him to the floor where he pounded him on the ringside table. Brody is bloodied as Lawler starts going to down but Tom Branch wouldn’t allow Lawler to piledrive him. Muhammad would then run in and Brody would kick Branch out of the ring before a spike piledriver. Brody would steal the crown as he leaves the ring. Yeah this is nomination material as it was a good fun brawl.

The Sheepherders (Jonathan Boyd & Rip Morgan) vs. Bart & Brad Batten (6/10/85)

Glorified squash.

Ron Sexton & Billy Travis vs. Tracy Smothers & Speedy Tall Tree (6/3/85)

Ho-hum match until the Fabs run in to beat the hell out of the heels.

Southern Tag Titles: The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) © vs. Bruiser Brody & Mr. Kareem Muhammad (6/3/85)

This doesn’t last long before Sexton & Travis come for their revenge.

Southern Tag Titles: The Pretty Young Things (Norvell Austin & Koko Ware) © vs. Jerry Oske & Tojo Yamamoto (6/10/85)

PYT’s look good here but that’s about all.

Lance talks to Tom Branch and then they show clips of Lawler vs. Brody from 6/10/85, which is the start of the Branch heel turn.
