Mid Atlantic 10/10/81

Roddy Piper Interview

Paul Jones vs. Ivan Koloff (JIP)

- Not much shown before Ole interference leads to Steamboat running in.

Ric Flair Interview (Possible extra. May be earliest world champion interview we have)

Wahoo McDaniel & Jay Youngblood vs. Jim Nelson & Charlie Fulton

- Extended squash.

Super Destroyer & The Grappler vs. Frank Monty & Afi

- Perfectly acceptable tag wrestling but nothing about the match stands out. I thought it would be more of a squash.

Interviews: Wahoo McDaniel, Ron Bass, Leroy Brown, Dusty Rhodes (What a strange bunch of interviews. Possible extra)

Ricky Harris vs. Dusty Rhodes

- Squash

Ivan Koloff & Roddy Piper vs. Muslin & Ritchie

- Ivan & Piper win after an extended squash and Wahoo comes out after and brawls with Piper.

Ricky Steamboat & Jake Roberts Interview

This starts with Piper banging on a trash can like an indian drum before talking shit on Wahoo.

Next we get clips of Paul Jones/Ivan which I've seen earlier.

Then we get Ric Flair's first promo at a JCP TV taping with the NWA title and this is a definite extra. (10/7/81)

Chief Wahoo McDaniel & Jay Youngblood vs. Charlie Fulton & Jim Nelson (10/7/81)

Average JCP style TV match of the era where the jobbers got some offense in. Wahoo's chops here were fierce.

The Grappler & Super Destroyr vs. Frank Monte & Siva Afi (10/7/81)

Another JCP style TV match and fine for what it was.

Next we get promos from Wahoo, Ron Bass, Leroy Brown, & Dusty Rhodes who dances around.

"American Dream" Dusty Rhodes vs. Ricky Harris (10/7/81)

Fun watching Dusty face the future Black Bart.

Then we get a promo from Flair about his match with Ole on 10/15 in Spartanburg followed up by a promo from Steamer about his match with Ivan on 10/12 in Greenville.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Steve Muslin & Ron Ritchie (10/7/81)

Piper plays the bagpipes before the match and after the match Wahoo gets some of Roddy.

Steamer & Jake Roberts then cut a promo to close out the show.

Then we get World Wide Wrestling with a promo from Paul Jones about his problems with Ole & Koloff followed up by a promo with Jake & Steamer.

Next we get a Ric Flair/Billy Starr match from TV.
