Posted April 22, 200817 yr comment_5430817 This starts with more clips of the Lawler/Hart feud leading up to the highlights of the Final Showdown Cage match at MSC on 12/13/82. Then we get clips of an elimination match at MSC won by Dundee on 12/13/82. Next another Fabs video to a song that I can’t remember the name of. (12/18/82) Then a Lawler/Bock history video set to Winning by Santana. This damn sure wasn’t Al Perez. (12/25/82) “Superstar” Bill Dundee vs. Apocalypse (Mike Boyette) (1/1/83) Street would run in for the DQ and Miss Linda would whip Dundee with a belt until the faces cleared the ring. Now we go to the 1984 Year In Review video showing all the great highlights of the year. Definite extra. Then we get clips of a wild brawl with Lawler & Savage at MSC on 3/25/85. Savage just destroys Lawler here. Tux Newman then comes out with Savage & Poffo and cuts a great promo. (3/30/85) Tux & Poffomania then cuts a promo on Jackie Fargo & The Fabs considering their match at MSC on 4/1/85. Fabs then come out for a retort. (3/30/85) The Pretty Young Things (Norvell Austin & Koko Ware) vs. Bart & Brad Batten (4/6/85) Koko nukes Bart with a brainbuster in a great showing by the PYT’s. Jimmy Suzuki famed Japanese photographer shows up and as usual in every territory he goes to, he gets his ass kicked by the top heel, which in this case was Savage. Suzuki is bloodied and this is a definite extra. (4/6/85) Tux Newman then cuts a great promo about killing the Fabs and he was a damn good replacement for Jimmy Hart. (4/6/85) The Fabs come out and challenge Savage to come slap them but the PYT’s come out instead for a wild brawl that would also include Poffo & Savage. (4/6/85) Ciclops vs. David Haskins (4/6/85) This is an interesting squash as I have no idea on who Ciclops was. Next we get clips of Street/Miss Linda vs. Speedy Tall Tree/Debbie Combs from MSC on 3/25/85. Southern Tag Titles: The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) © vs. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & “Leaping” Lanny Poffo (3/18/85) This is from MSC. Fabs start off strong but the heels would use their roughhouse tactics to gain control and it’s funny watching Gilbert work over the original Fabs. Lane would get the hot tag from Keirn and this would soon break into a 4-way brawl with Lane being sent to the floor so they could double team Keirn. Lane would come back in the ring and Paul Morton called the match a no contest. Tux Newman brings out his newest charge in Moondog Rex who would soon leave for Mid-South with Gilbert. (4/20/85) Tux comes back out with Savage showing him pin Nick Bockwinkel at MSC on 4/15/85. “Macho Man” Randy Savage vs. Bart Batten (4/20/85) Savage destroyes Bart so Brad tries to help and gets his ass kicked too. Great stuff then we get a Savage video set to War Machine by KISS. Lawler then cuts a promo vowing revenge on Savage and then we get a video of Lawler set to Forever Young. Savage then comes out very angry about the Lawler video being shown. This is a definite extra. (4/20/85) Then we get an awesome video of Lawler & Savage building up to their big match at MSC on 4/22/85. The Pretty Young Things (Norvell Austin & Koko Ware) vs. The Daydreamers (Tim Ashley & Steve Constance) (3/25/85) This is from MSC and PYT’s come out fighting at the bell just beating the fuck out of these guys. Dreamers would finally get enough fight to make a comeback and they turn the tables completely just taking it to the PYT’s in a total brawl. Austin would grab Tux’s cane and used it to get the win. This ended up being a damn good match and I’m putting it on the block.
