(5/18/85) Brody then sends in another promo wearing Lawler’s crown and this was fucking tremendous. Muhammad then comes out in the studio to cosign Brody. Definite extra. Then we get clips of Dundee & Lawler vs. Brody & Muhammad from MSC on 5/13/85 and this looked great. Dundee starts shit with Eddie Marlin and beats him up until the Freedom Fighters make the save. (11/30/85) Then we get clips of Dundee vs. Koko from MSC on 11/25/85 with Dutch & Mega Maharishi helping Dundee until Phil Hickerson makes the save. Hickerson & Koko then cut a promo in the studio. (11/30/85) Steve Keirn is cutting a promo and he gets to meet the Heavenly Bodies (Tom Prichard & Pat Rose) led by Sherri Martel. Keirn tells them that Lane was on vacation so they whoop his ass. This was great. (11/30/85) Lawler then comes out to talk about his baby diaper match against Tony Falk at MSC on 12/2/85. The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. Tony Falk & “Dirty” Dutch Mantell (11/30/85) Jesus the WMC studio is hot for the Fants and they look good here working their formula match with Rogers taking a beating and Fulton getting the hot tag. Dutch pulls the top rope so Fulton falls over and Rogers jacks his jaw with a dropkick, so the Sheeps (Boyd, Rip Morgan, & Tarras Bulba) come out to make it 5-on-2 until the Freedom Fighters make the save. NWA World Heavyweight Title: “Nature Boy” Ric Flair © vs. Koko Ware (11/18/85) Dusty is advising Koko from the floor giving him the rub. This was a phenomenal match and a slam dunk nomination. Next we get a video of the Idol/Lawler team set to Demolition Man. Lawler then comes out and talks about their match against Dundee & Dutch at MSC on 12/9/85. (12/7/85) The Freedom Fighters (Steve Borden & Jim Hellwig) come out and announce their heel turn running down Hickerson & Lawler for being fat. Hickerson then comes out and says that all they do is shoot up with steroids. Hickerson then challenges Hellwig to a match that didn’t go long before Borden ran in. This was great and a definite extra. (12/7/85) Lawler comes out talking about his vow to retire if he doesn’t win the world title in 1985 and says that he is going back on his vow. (12/14/85) Hickerson & Lawler come out talking about the Freedom Fighters turning heel and taking Buddy Wayne as their manager. Lawler compares the Buddy Wayne photo from his younger days to now and this was hilarious. Extra material. (12/14/85) The Sheeps (Boyd/Bulba/Morgan) come out to sing Waltzing Matilda and this was great. (12/14/85) The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) vs. The Midnight Express (“Loverboy” Dennis Condrey & “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton) (11/18/85) This is JIP from MSC but it looks like we didn’t miss but a couple of minutes. MX spend the early part of the match working over Lane’s left arm until Condrey wrings Eaton’s arm by accident. Both teams would trade the advantage until the MX started double teaming Keirn. Cornette would also help his team using the tennis racket on Keirn and the MX would really work over Keirn’s neck. Lane would get the hot tag after a few minutes and started cleaning house until Cornette ran in for the DQ. I’m putting this on the block as I really enjoyed it. Dundee comes out and talks about their big Southern title vs. Paula Lawler’s hair match at MSC on 12/21/85 then Lance has a sitdown with Paula concerning the issue. Good stuff. (12/21/85) The Fantastics come out talking about their match against the Sheeps on 12/21/85 at MSC where the loser has to sing the other’s anthem. The Sheeps then come out for a retort that was great as usual. (12/21/85) Dundee comes out for another promo with his Elvis greasy hairstyle and Lawler comes out for a retort.
