Posted April 27, 200817 yr comment_5430922 I am going to throw this up as a nomination. Ventura is possibly the single shittiest wrestler of the 1980's. He blows two leg dive bumps in a row here, but Lawler does an amazing job carrying this load of crap to a fun little match. Awesome post bump by Lawler here too.
April 27, 200817 yr comment_5430932 Lawler in one man show mode + Ventura's kinda amusing pirouette selling for Lawler's comeback + the chicken suit bullshit ending = nomination.
April 28, 200817 yr comment_5430946 Ventura really stinks I mean he eats one posting kind of well but can't eat a double leg take down and got the sense that he may not be aas good of a wrestler as Big John Studd. I imagine Lawler v Studd would be better. I imagine their are at least five current governors Lawler could have a better match with, and midway through this was listing off Minnesota politicians that I think Lawler could work a better match with, laying out spots you can work opposite Eugene Mccarthy, Paul Wellstone, Hubert Humphrey, Mondale, Al Franken,etc... Still feels like a worthy nomination.

July 21, 200817 yr comment_5433192 No DQ No Time Limit for the Southern Heavyweight Title: Jerry “The King” Lawler © vs. Jesse “The Body” Ventura (10/10/83) This was another of the classic Lawler carryjobs of sacks of shit and he was awesome here selling for Ventura and dishing out the punishment. The ending had been done before with Andy Kaufman but it was still cool here and this should move forward.
