Posted April 30, 200817 yr comment_5430986 This was a 2/3 falls match, and was totally awesome. Ware and Morton are such a pleasure to watch against each other, that you kind of wish the MX was Ware and Eaton. Eddie is a lot of fun too, and all three falls are individually great. Man was Koko's dropkick a thing of beauty. The VQ is the only issue here, I didn't have big problems enjoying the match, but it isn't good. No way we find a better version of this anywhere, so I think it is good enough to go on anyway. Memphis Arena 82, Disc 2

July 12, 200817 yr comment_5432870 Stan Lane/Koko Ware v. Eddie Gilbert/Ricky Morton, 1/82- This has to go on but Christ, I wish we had it in better VQ. Seriously, everyone played this to perfection and it may end up in my Top Ten before all is said and done. (Walburton Memphis Arena 82, Disc 2)
August 12, 200817 yr comment_5433918 This isn't January 1982 but late October 1981 probably the last week of the month. The presentation of this is really odd with Randy Hales at ringside with a wireless mic doing commentary and this is from Jonesboro, Arkansas airing on their station specially. Regarding Phil's point of an Eaton/Sugar MX how bout being Condrey & Lane in that mix and just revolving the partners around in two different teams. Shit that would've kicked some fucking ass. Lane & Sugar were just great here at being prick heels especially Sugar dancing a jig according to Randy Hales after unloading offense on Morton. The thing that got me here was Sugar had a chain but the match was a no DQ no time limit match so what was the big deal but that's just a minor argument. First fall ended with the faces getting pretty much a flash sunset flip pin which was good to setup the next fall with the heels getting the advantage back and being pissed off at losing the first fall thus winning the second one. The third fall had great action with both teams going back and forth but the heels would retain their titles leading to a great post-match. This is great stuff and a definite nomination.
