Posted May 5, 200817 yr comment_5431062 No matches, but a bunch of crazy brawls which should probably be extras. The first week had Jeff Jarrett pour yellow paint over Tojo's head and the Goto and Sato bust open Jeff, Pat Tanaka and Eddie Marlin. We get some of the most exasperated Lance Russell commentary as he threatens Tojo "You might kill me, but I'll get one good shot in first." The next week they show highlights of Jerry Jarrett breaking Tojo's arm, and then you have a crazy brawl with Goto/Sato/Ninja breaking Paul Diamonds leg, and beating on Jeff, Jerry, Tanaka and Eddie Marlin. Plus you have Bass, Rhodes and the dude that used to be Torch angry about losing their masks so they jump Tommy Rich and Tommy bleeds like Tommy Rich. Then Lawler runs in and breaks a coke bottle over Rhodes head, and he starts squirting blood. GORE!!
July 30, 200817 yr comment_5433397 Tojo starts out with a taped promo burying Jerry Jarrett and this is awesome. (9/20/86) Then we get a video for Paul Diamond & Tracy Smothers. Mid-America Heavyweight Title: Tracy Smothers © vs. The Ninja (Tony Burton) (9/20/86) Smothers juices here after Tojo attacks him and Ninja gets the win on a botched finish as Smothers kicked out clearly but Calhoun made the count. Lawler then comes out and says that there should be instant replay on the last match because Tracy got robbed. Lawler then explains why he is vacating the International title and keeping the Southern title because he doesn’t have to travel with the Southern title. Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Torch (Larry Wright) (9/20/86) King is working strapless here which is odd to see. Lawler gets a quick win on a schoolboy when Torch was talking shit to the crowd. Flame then demands to face Lawler so Lawler obliges. Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Flame (Don Bass) (9/20/86) Lawler would schoolboy Flame in 40 seconds and so Fire comes out demanding his shot at Lawler saying that if Lawler wins against him then they would unmask. Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Fire (Dirty Rhodes) (9/20/86) Flame would distract Jerry Calhoun so Fire could throw powder in Lawler’s eyes to get the win. This is all extra material. Next we get a Lawler commercial for his furniture store in Evansville which is also an extra. Tojo then comes back out threatening to paint Jeff Jarrett’s back yellow. Tarzan Goto & Akio Sato vs. Jim Jameson & David Johnson (9/20/86) As the match is going, Jeff & Tanaka come out and dumps the whole can of yellow paint on Tojo thus stopping the match. The Japanese then beat the hell out of Jarrett & Tanaka along with Eddie Marlin. Marlin then takes off his shirt and demands Tojo face him in the ring or he would fire him but Tojo doesn’t show up until Marlin leaves and threatens Lance before Eddie comes back out to get salt thrown in his eyes. Marlin juices until Jeff & Tanaka can come back out. God damn was this fucking great Memphis Vice (Jerry Bryant & Lou Winston) vs. David Haskins & Jim Jameson (9/20/86) Lawler was supposed to be in this match but he had left early for some reason so the Vice say that Lawler is afraid of them. Lance shows up brandishing a hammer saying that Tojo won’t beat him up without a fight so Tojo comes back out with a kendo stick wanting a fight. Jesus christ this is awesome stuff and slam dunk extra material. Fire & Flame (Dirty Rhodes & Don Bass) vs. Mike Murphy & Freezer Thompson (9/20/86) Squash. Lawler comes back out with some flour and pours it all over the masked men. Great stuff. Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Keith Eric (9/27/86) Randy Hales comes out and says that Lawler hasn’t shown up yet for TV so the match would be delayed. Dirty Rhodes, Don Bass, & Larry Wright show up all bruised up and dirty so you know what happened to Lawler. Dirty has Lawler’s keys in his hands saying that they had to repo Lawler’s car. Then we get clips of Jerry Jarrett/Tojo from MSC on 9/26/86 where Jerry “broke” Tojo’s arm with an armbar. The Japanese then come out for a response with Tarzan Goto cutting a fantastic promo in Japanese. Tarzan Goto, The Ninja (Tony Burton), & Akio Sato vs. David Haskins, Jim Jameson, & Mike Murphy (9/27/86) Squash. The Jarrett crew comes out after the match and cut a promo about the situation with Tojo. Jeff Jarrett & Pat Tanaka vs. Memphis Vice (Jerry Bryant & Lou Winston) (9/27/86) This was going along fine until the Japanese attack the faces until Jerry Jarrett comes out but the Ninja takes care of him. Paul Diamond then runs out pounding on the heels before he gets hit in the knee with a steel chair. The Japanese then injure his knee with the chair. Eddie Marlin then comes out with a trash can but they would use that on him causing him to juice. The jobber brigade comes out and they get destroyed until Tommy Rich & Tracy Smothers come out with chairs to run them off. More extra material. Tommy “Wildfire” Rich vs. Keith Roberson (9/27/86) Rich is winning easily until Dirty, Bass, & Wright attack him with a chain and they bloody him. Rich is bleeding buckets and the crowd is just sitting there on their hands which is very odd. Marlin then says that if they don’t leave they would be suspended so they oblige. Rich popped a world class gusher. Extra material. Don Bass & Dirty Rhodes vs. Jerry Garmon & Benny Trailer (9/27/86) Squash. The heels then gloat some more about Lawler until he shows up with a bloody Rich and he breaks a coke bottle over Dirty’s head. It then turns into a fucking all out war with Lawler cutting a great promo afterwards. Definite extra material. Excitement Inc. (John Paul & Rick McCord) vs. Rough & Ready (9/27/86) Squash.
