Posted May 27, 200817 yr comment_5431694 CWA 2/28-3/7/87 The two big angles going on here are Nick Bockwinkle coming in v Soul Train Jones (Mike Jones/Virgil/Vincent/Curly Joe) and Pat Tanaka’s hurt feelings about Jeff Jarrett leaving him to tag with BJ Travis. Oh yeah and there is an angle about how face Allen West has finally given up and is going to hit the hunter ( I think Dale Veasey)’s valet Bambi. If Pat Tanka was any good on the mic the breakup angle might make an extra but as it is, its really the gayest relationship breakup you’ve ever seen. There is a Boy Tony v Jerry Lawler match that goes about 7 minutes and is fun. You’ll all enjoy but not worth putting on set. Other matches: Allan West, Jerry Graham v Don Bass, hunter Medics (not Bass and Rhodes) v Lou Winston, Soul Train Jones Bubba and Goliath v Bryant Bros Soultrain Jones and Ed Maddox v Shima, Goto (Shimma does an out of control powerbomb on the floor) Jt Southern v Keith Roberson Big Bubba and Goliath v Mattox and Jamison Jarret and Travis v Medics Don Bass, Roberson v Pat Tanaka, Allan West JIP vintage Lawwler v Kimala
July 31, 200817 yr comment_5433427 Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Boy Tony (2/21/87) Fun comedy match that sees Bubba & Goliath attack Lawler after the match but he would sneak out before any real damage was done. Don Bass & The Hunter (Bob Brown) vs. Jerry Garmon & Alan West (2/21/87) Garmon is subbing for Pat Tanaka. Competitive match that sees Bambi interfere for the DQ. Soul Train Jones & Lou Winston vs. The Medics (2/21/87) Soul Train is subbing for Jerry Bryant whose health problems were starting around this time. Big Bubba & Goliath vs. Randy & Robert Bryant (2/21/87) Squash. Soul Train Jones & Ed Mattox vs. Tarzan Goto & Mr. Shiima (Akio Sato) (2/21/87) Japanese get DQed for attacking Jerry Calhoun then tries to injure Jones until the faces make the save. Next we get a JT Southern video to Jump by Van Halen. The next show was basically a best of although it does have the start of the Pat Tanaka heel turn with a promo about Jeff Jarrett dumping him as a partner.
