This is the MEXICAN CONNECTION SHOW! As Manny Fernandez and hector Guerrero just show up for multiple promos and rule. I really wish we had some of their matches v Dundee that this all sets up. But still the promos should make extras:

They come out cut a promo about how they are sick and tired of “you Americans assassinating Mexican food”. I’ve eaten at Taco Bell and feel their pain. They explain the nature of jalepenos and how they make the cooking taste good. Bill Dundee comes out and cuts a promo about what it means to be an immigrant in America and how he’s proud of his heritage and of being an American. What it means to be a good immigrant is interrupted by Mexican Connection throwing the chile in Dundee’s eyes. Hector and Manny come out to celebrate the U.S. defeat at the Alamo and offer to let people in the audience taste a jalapeño. Hector works a mic segment where Dundee comes running out and throws water in Hectors face, Manny Fernandez attacks from behind slips on water, doesn’t miss a beat and takes Dundee down form the floor. Hector bites the end of pepper and grinds it into Dundee’s eye. Hector comes out later with Guitar and sings cielito Lindo with new lyrics of “Ay Ay Ay ay/ At the Alamo we beat you/If you don’t eat my pepper/I’ll put it in your eye”. All this rules and should be extras.

Other major angles on this DVD are:

-Steve Keirn turning heel as a result of Lawler accidentally throwing a fireball in his face at arena.

-Mark Guillen doing a promo introducing Teijo Khan.

-Midnight Rockers feuding with Rock N Roll RPMS

-Jimmy Jack Funk v Jeff Jarrett

Jimmy Jack is doing full on Terry Funk impression in promos and complains about the commercials for the Jeff Jarrett poster. Jimmy Jack has stolen the belt. Eddy Marlin demands it back. Funk hits Marlin with belt and then hangs Jarrett with the bull rope. Not sure if any of this needs to be included as an extra. The poster commercial is the most homoerotic thing in the history of CWA (and that covers a lot). And well the hanging is cool angle. But really feels like we need Naylor to put together a video montage of every babyface hanging beatdown heat segment or something (maybe to Yolanda Adams singing Mary Don’t you weep/ setting it to Strange Fruit might be tasteless). This isn’t near the best hanging angle.

Matches:

Mexican Connection v jobbers

Jimmy Jack Funk v John Paul

Bobby Jaggers v Freezer Thompson

Roberson, Blue Knight, Executioners v Midnight Rockers, and Bad Company

Mexican Connection v Nasty Boys

Jeff Jarret/BJ Travis v Assassins (not Bass and Rhodes)

Bobby Jaggers v Lawler

Teijo Khan v Jim Jameson

Freezer Thompson v Jimmy Jack Funk

RNR RPMS v Lawler/Jarrett

The eight man goes a while and Bad Company rule, Midnight Rockers not as good but Michaels does a cool headbutt to escape the heel corner and the double slingshot suplex is nice finish. Nasty Boys are a shitty undercard blowjob babyface team. And the Jaggers v Lawler match is a lot of fun with blood a big posting and really stiff lariats and elbows from Jaggers. Unfortunately it’s only 5 minutes long.
