Sawyer then heckles Murdoch from the floor until Freddie Miller kicks him out. (5/21/83) “Capt. Redneck” Dick Murdoch vs. Terry Ellis (5/21/83) Squash. Buzz is cutting another promo on Murdoch but Murdoch would jump over the desk to attack Sawyer. Super Destroyer (Scott Irwin) vs. Larry Hamilton (5/21/83) Squash. Precious Paul comes out and they show the video of Iron Sheik at some bodybuilder convention swinging the Persian Clubs and inviting some of the bodybuilders on stage to try it. One of the bodybuilders was a local guy named Jim Hellwig. This is extra material just for the Hellwig cameo alone and the only time people swung the clubs without getting attacked by the Sheik. Iron Sheik vs. Mike Starbuck (5/21/83) Squash. Solie inexplicably talks about Bette Midler during the match and it’s pretty hilarious. Bob Roop vs. Pat Rose (5/21/83) Roop wins fairly easily. Ole comes out for another patriotic promo on the Sheik. Zbyszko comes out for a promo wearing a great shirt that has “Beam me up Scotty, there is no intelligent life here.” Then we get a Mike Graham squash from Florida. Next is a lot of heel promos. Stan “The Lariat” Hansen vs. Mike Thompson (6/4/83) Squash. Brooks & Sawyer then come out for a promo on the Omni show the next night. “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer vs. Bob McKenzie (6/4/83) Mr. Wrestling II makes his return to WTBS Studios during the match and Murdoch joins him to watch the match. Sawyer gets agitated by this and goes to the floor wanting them to leave but when this happens II jumps in the ring and Murdoch stares down Sawyer forcing him to leave the area. Fun stuff. Rick Rood vs. Mike Starbuck (5/28/83) They show Rood’s debut from the week before. Pistol Pez Whatley vs. Pat Rose (6/4/83) Whatley makes his return to Georgia after many years away. This was a pretty good match with Rose getting some offense in. Larry Zbyszko vs. Terry Ellis (6/4/83) The crowd really hates Zbyszko here. Mr. Wrestling II vs. Bob Brown (6/4/83) Squash. Paul Ellering comes out and starts talking about his mystery team from Chicago who would go on to be the Road Warriors. Ole then comes out and tells Ellering that he & Pat Rose switched spots in the National title tourney and would face Ellering in the 1st round. National TV Title: Iron Sheik © vs. Tracy Stohr (6/4/83) Squash. They show clips of the Sawyer/Murdoch brawl from 5/28/83 with Sawyer breaking out the Murdoch family photo which is hilarious. This is tremendous stuff and a definite extra. Gordon Solie introduces the new National champ in Larry Zbyszko to start off the next week’s show making that tournament pointless. (6/11/83) Sawyer comes out and wants a final conflict with Murdoch and they show highlights of their match from the Omni on 6/5/83. Precious Paul comes out and talks more about the Road Warriors this time by name. “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer vs. Zane Smith (6/11/83) Buzz is ruthless here nuking Smith with a German Suplex then cuts a psychotic promo afterwards. Freddie Miller cuts a taped promo with II at the Omni after the National title tournament where he vows revenge on Zbyszko. II is so great at being angry. The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Randy Barber & Joe Young (6/11/83) This is their TV debut and the legend is born. Pistol Pez Whatley vs. Tracy Stohr (6/11/83) Squash. “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer vs. Randy Barber (6/11/83) Sawyer destroys Barber here as he presses him over his head and throws him flat on the concrete floor then would end up having his victory taken away from him because he wouldn’t quit beating on Barber after the match. Iron Sheik vs. Zane Smith (6/11/83) Squash. Next we get a Bob Orton Jr. vs. Frank Monte match from World Wide. Then we get another litany of heel promos. Next is a Dick Slater/Greg Valentine vs. Tommy Gilbert/Mark Fleming match from World Wide.
