First half hour is video packages and promos. Clips of Lawler winning the title. Interview with Dundee about being the first challenger to the title. Dundee video package. Lawler promo , Lawler video package. Jarrett promo about Fuller missing last match because he claims to have been concussed when Jarrett hit him with a trash can. Clip of that angle and Jarrett video package. Assuming that we don’t actually have either Lawler v Dundee for AWA belt in 88 or any Jarrett v Fuller matches than I don’t think we need the set ups.

 

If we actually have a Jarret v Fuller match than we should include the clip of concussion. The following weeks show has Jarret do a promo about last match (where Fuller brought a bottle as a weapon) “Next time I’m going to bring my own bottle or maybe an axe.” Which is followed by Fuller hanging Jarrett. Again no need to put this on unless we have a nominated match from the series. Or if we just want to do a Jeff Jarrett gets hanged video montage.

 

Ok so this is a promotion that goes with the angles that the audience gives them. Last week the audience started a “He’s got AIDS chant” and this week they continue to build that up. The Harris Bros come out in their bright pink trunks and jean jackets and do an interview about their feud with Cuban Choir Boys “The Cuban Choir Boys are running around with their squirrelly manager. We all know Brother Ernest Angel is a lil on the feminine side so you got to wonder about these guys. And with the rumors about Ernest and his “special” disease we want to be wrestling these guys as little as possible”. Brother Ernest comes out to announce table during Harris v Bass and Gary Young match to complain that these are lies “I’m appalled. Cannot believe these guys would come out and accuse me of having a dreaded disease. How they’d make fun of someone like that. People that have that disease should be pitied. And I had an intestinal flue, honest.”

 

AIDS bating may need to go on as an extra. As really AIDS bating is as 80s as you get.

 

Ernest does another promo later on about Gary Young and Young’s lust. Young does a promo about how the relationship with Missy didn’t work out but he wants skanky women to send in pictures cause he’s recruiting for a new valet.

 

We do have a post match promo from Lawler after Hennig v Lawler as well as an in studio promo about winning belt that should both be extras (about an hour into DVD start of second episode).

 

There is an angle with Max Pain where Curt Hennig wants a rematch opposite Lawler but you need to be CWA champ to be top contender so Brickhouse gives Hennig Max Pain’s title which pisses Pain off.

 

Jerry Jarrett comes out and explains the most preposterous Russo booking in the world where they are going to do a three ring battle royale for Renegade Rampage points (win first ring 75, second 50, third 25) and to make sure show doesn’t go too long 9 prelim matches will take place 3 at a time like a circus.

Robert Fuller attacks Jarrett right after the match starts then attacks Eric before going back to Jarrett trying to hang him with a rope.

 

Hennig cuts a promo after losing the title wanting a shot but the CWA champ is next in line so Brickhouse Brown comes out and gives Hennig the CWA title which is held by Max Pain pissing him off. Brick is great here.

Fuller comes out again and interferes.

 

Gary Young comes out wanting dates since the Missy Hyatt situation ended in a bad way. Extra material.

Fuller comes out and does commentary then attacks Don Harris from the apron until Jeff Jarrett runs him off. Fuller comes back out and attacks Ron Harris this time before Jarrett runs after him again.
