Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. Mike Jackson (9/17/83)

Jackson makes it competitive but Jake still wins easily.

King Kong Bundy vs. Frank Lavert (9/24/83)

Squash.

Bundy & Ernie Ladd then have a confrontation at the desk with Ladd cutting a great Ladd style promo.

II comes out saying that he would give Zbyszko his belt back if he gave Brett Wayne a title shot at the Omni on the next night. Zbyszko would then go on the lose the belt so he had the belt for one day as II had the belt for over 3 months and wasn’t even the champ.

Ted DiBiase vs. Tracy Stohr (9/24/83)

Squash.

Next is a taped promo by Bob & Brad Armstrong about the Roadies at the Armstrong family gym and this is extra material.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Randy Barber & Pat Rose (9/24/83)

Squash.

National TV Title: Ronnie Garvin © vs. Wild Bill Irwin (9/24/83)

Okay match that went to a TV draw.

Next we get clips of Brett Wayne winning the National title from Zbyszko at the Omni on 9/25/83.

National TV Title: Ronnie Garvin © vs. Mr. Wrestling (Jesse Barr) (10/1/83)

II is on commentary for this. Garvin looked really good here and Wrestling was fine as well. Wrestling would use a loaded kneebrace on Garvin twice before throwing Nick Patrick to the side for the DQ. II would attack him after the match trying to take his mask off.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. David Jones (10/1/83)

Squash.

Piper sends in a taped promo about his dog collar match with Sawyer in Cincy on 10/1/83.

Brett Wayne vs. Bob Brown (10/1/83)

Squash. Solie talks about hanging out with Bertie Higgins during the match and that is hilarious to me. I wonder if they sang Key Largo together.

Pat Rose & Tracy Stohr are having a match until Bundy comes out and attacks both men.

Dusty sends in a taped promo on Sawyer.

“Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer vs. Chief Joe Lightfoot (10/1/83)

Buzz would destroy Lightfoot pressing him over the top rope to the floor with Lightfoot injuring his foot for the DQ.

Next we get a taped match with Jimmy Valiant/Bill White from World Wide.

Ladd then cuts a taped promo on Bundy.

Les Thornton vs. Pat Rose (10/1/83)

Thornton looks good here and Rose is a good opponent for him.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Bruno Sammartino Jr. & Jason Walker (10/1/83)

Bruno Jr. is now down to jobber status.

Mr. Wrestling (Jesse Barr) vs. Chief Joe Lightfoot (10/8/83)

Wrestling looks good and II is at ringside bothering him and they end up brawling.

National TV Title: Ronnie Garvin © vs. Les Thornton (10/8/83)

Some really good tight work here as both men look great in their wrestling especially Thornton cranking in his cravate and other headlocks. This is all about getting the advantage on the mat early but both men would start hammering each other with blows to weaken the other. There would be a double collision taking both men down but Garvin would lock in a headlock on Thornton who would take him to the ropes where Garvin would spring off into a backdrop suplex hold that Scrappy McGowan would count out Thornton who had both shoulders down as Garvin got his up. This wasn’t a long match but enough for a nomination I think.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. Tony Zane (10/8/83)

Squash.

“Wildfire” Tommy Rich vs. “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer (10/8/83)

Rich wrestles in his street clothes here and he just pounds on Sawyer to start this match. Rich beats Sawyer bloody here by just punching him in the head as much as he can but Buzz would answer with forearms although Rich would shake them off soon after. Buzz would start biting on Rich’s head but Rich would hit a Thesz Press so Ellering could run in for the DQ. Rich takes off his boot and beats on both heels before II could come out. Very fun stuff.

Valiant sends in a taped promo about the Roadies.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Randy Barber & Mike Jackson (10/8/83)

Squash.

Solie brings out Ric Flair after regaining the title from Harley Race at Starrcade 83 in his first appearance on TBS in 6 months.

Tommy Rogers vs. “Golden Boy” Chick Donovan (11/26/83)

Fun little match with both men looking good and Rogers using a funky powerslam to win.

Handicap: King Kong Bundy vs. Roger Bond & Zane Smith (11/26/83)

Squash.
