Posted June 1, 200817 yr comment_5431875 National TV Title: Ronnie Garvin © vs. Les Thornton (10/8/83) Some really good tight work here as both men look great in their wrestling especially Thornton cranking in his cravate and other headlocks. This is all about getting the advantage on the mat early but both men would start hammering each other with blows to weaken the other. There would be a double collision taking both men down but Garvin would lock in a headlock on Thornton who would take him to the ropes where Garvin would spring off into a backdrop suplex hold that Scrappy McGowan would count out Thornton who had both shoulders down as Garvin got his up. This wasn’t a long match but enough for a nomination I think.
