Steve Austin

This isn't one I really have to think about. Andre headlined the most memorable show of his generation against Hogan, but Andre was way past his peak by that time, and was coasting along on his name. Outside of that match (which was outdrawn by Bret v Davey Boy in Wembley, by the way), he doesn't really have anything else going for him, while Austin ushered in a new era, became the biggest cash cow in company history (#2 at worst) and was a great, great worker as well.

Austin. Workrate, buyrates, it's all him. Andre was a great worker in his time, but he was shit by time 1985 rolled around.
