JIMMY HART This was alot of fun, possible extra candidate. JERRY LAWLER VS. NICK BOCKWINKEL (SOUTHERN TITLE CHANGE) Super match, my favorite of the 3 Lawler-Bockwinkel matches that we have complete. Bockwinkel dominates a lot of it w/ great looking punches and Lawler winning a title from Bockwinkel w/ the fistdrop is a great finish. Easy nomination. BOBBY EATON/KOKO WARE VS. KAMALA/JACQUES ROUGEAU Only 6 minutes long, but a super sprint. Fired up babyface Kamala is awesome, Eaton & Ware take super backdrops as usual, and Rougeau hits some great dropkicks. Post match was fun, too. Worth at least looking at as a nomination. RICK MCGRAW/DREAM MACHINE VS. STEVE REGAL/SPIKE HUBER Just a solid southern tag match with a perfectly acceptable DQ ending (multiple spike piledrivers in Memphis). The Dolls and Regal looked really good and Huber was fine. Should move forward. INTRO OF FABULOUS ONES A must have extra, and this is probably the best copy we'll find. JERRY LAWLER VIDEO "Hit Me With Your Best Shot." Possible extra w/ the other music videos. JERRY LAWLER VS. DUTCH MANTELL Not as epic as their other matches but still worth a look. Mantell's Double Dutch clothesline thing was awesome and the BS finish was a fun way to move the Dutch-Cornette angle along. LAWLER/COWBOY LANG VS. STAN FRAZIER/LITTLE TOKYO What the hell, I enjoyed this a bunch for some reason. Lawler punching a giant in between midget comedy spots amused me for some reason. BILL DUNDEE VS. STEVE KEIRN Fun pre-match interviews plus the Memphis debut of Jim Morris (Hillbilly Jim) makes this a possible extra. ROCK ‘N’ ROLL EXPRESS VS. GRAPPLERS Uneventful.
