New Japan Classics 150

Akira Maeda vs. Killer Khan (9/2/83)

- Pretty fun match. Khan has grown on me after I watched a ton of the All Japan stuff. A little too short and the non-ending prevent it from making a list but I appreciate how both guys worked.

Antonio Inoki vs. Dick Murdoch (9/2/83)

- I Love Dick Murdoch. I love how Inoki goes all over the place in his offense but Dicky just keeps attacking the leg. However, I really hate Inoki's selling, or lack thereof. After controlling the match, Dicky drops the big guns like a running powerslam and the brainbuster. However, Inoki no-sells everything built up through the match and hits two enziguiris to set up the Octopus for the submission. Ugh, I would put this on a Murdoch comp to show how awesome he is but this should not go on the set.

Higo Hamaguchi vs. Rusher Kimura (9/2/83)

- This one didn't last very long before they broke out the big moves but ended after a ref bump and some interference.

Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Riki Choshu - (WWF International Title) (9/2/83)

- Khan and Hanaguchi attack Inoki before the match and this is on. Initially, it looked like they would be brawling and fighting but it turns ionto a generic wrestling match after a promising beginning. THis was similar to the previous match i recommended but after the attack on Inoki, I was expecting more of a fight. Disappointing. Maybe I need to rewatch this feud but I am not excited to watch more of these matches.
