However, a DK knee ends that strategy. When Davey regains control, he hits a few big moves (powerslam, press slam) before grounding DK in a headlock. DK escapes and takes control with an octopus. DK thinks he has softened him up enough to go for the headbutt but he misses of course. After about 8 minutes, you can tell Davey is gassed because he is trading one resthold for another. The last couple of minutes has Davey trying to throw every move in the book at DK in an attmept to win. Hh hits a sweet dive, he goes for a top-rope dropkick and clotheslines DK out of the ring. However, out of the ring, DK gets a back suplex and beats the count for the win. This could easily be viewed as the stronger yet more experienced Davey being shown up by the "wiser" and more experienced DK. DK may not have as much strength but he capitalized when it mattered. Despite its flaws, I'll nominate it for some nice sequences and the novelty factor. Antonio Inoki & Akira Maeda vs. Hulk Hogan & Mike Sharpe (2/3/84) - Good ending as Inoki has Sharpe in an abdominal stretch but Hogan breaks it up with an Axe Bomber. Hogan charges Inoki but gets backdropped out of the ring and as Sharpe is staggering, he gets an enziguiri for his troubles and the loss. Not a nomination but the end was played well.
