CWA Wrestling 7/9/89 in Nashville, TN (2 hours)

+Dutch Mantell vs. Cat Garrett

Match gets cut off about a minute in

+Bill Dundee vs. “D.I.” Bob Carter

Kind of fun to watch Dundee carry this turd and it has some great Dundee punches, but fuck does Bob Carter stink.

+“Dirty White Boy” Tony Anthony vs. Dustin Rhodes

Fun match built like a Hemlsely match where all of Dustin’s offense came after DWB whipped him into the ropes, for a Helmsley match better then most Helmsley matches, not good enough to make a disc.

+The Master of Pain vs. Nightmare Freddie

Freddie is always fun, Master of Pain not so much, couple of blown spots, and it is pretty clear that Undertaker can’t work singles matches at this point

+Chris Champion & Mark Starr vs. Billy Joe Travis & Action Jackson

They did some crowd brawling which was fun, but this was a very short match

+Jeff Jarrett vs. Black Bart

Short match which ended with them brawling to the back

+AWA World Champion Jerry Lawler vs. Iceman King Parsons

Started out with about 8 minutes of Parsons stalling, which is fine, unfortunately right when the match started getting good, Harold T. Harris ran in and caused the DQ. It looked like it was on its way, but not a disc match
