Posted July 3, 200817 yr comment_5432623 We get a video package of Jerry Lawler playing with Jerry’s Kids. Then the last three minutes of Dundee/Lawler v. Boyd/Morgan. It ruled but not nearly enough of the match to nominate., the post match is pretty crazy with everyone running in the ring, and Dundee gets popped in the face by a lit torch by Botha the Witch Doctor. They show a video package of Bob Armstrong, and then show the Heavenly Bodies jumping Bullet, you get an Armstrong Brothers promo and a Heavenly Bodies promo with amusing Pritchard fake crying. Bill Dundee/Jerry Lawler v. Tom Pritchard/Pat Rose Expiration of time match, really fun stuff with lots of nifty Dundee face in peril spots, the Bodies are cool heel tag team. First fall ends in about 10 minutes with a fake Masked Superstar run in (looked like Jerry Stubbs, and man do I wish we had some Stubbs v. Dundee matches) Second fall had some really stiff shots to Lawlers face. Second fall also ends in a Masked Superstar run in. I enjoyed this a bunch and am going to throw it up. They finished by showing the last 6 minutes of Koko v. Race, not very good. Race mixes it up a bit by brainbustering Koko on the floor and making him beat a count, instead of piledriving him. Race was really bumping goofy too, doing crazy flips for everything. Jerry Lawler show has interviews with the Armstrong brothers and the Masked Superstar who talk about his tours all over the world, we should do a montage of Memphis masked rip off gimmicks.
July 7, 200817 yr comment_5432721 This starts with a video of Jerry Lawler visiting a local United Way. “Superstar” Bill Dundee & Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. The Sheepherders (Jonathan Boyd & Rip Morgan) (10/1/85) This is JIP from Louisville and it starts with Dundee as FIP and the action is good for the short time we get. It would end up in a wild brawl with Fabs, Buddy Wayne, Mr. Class, Tom Branch, Masked Superstar, and others. Bota would burn Dundee with a stick and this was wild. Next we get a Bob Armstrong video montage that is great followed up with footage of Prichard & Rose injuring him in Jackson, Tennessee and a promo by the sons who want revenge. Then we get a Prichard & Rose promo that is great. Definite extra. 2 out of 3 falls: “Superstar” Bill Dundee & Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Tom Prichard & Pat Rose (10/12/85) This was lots of fun as it’s a different matchup and it’s always fun seeing the Memphis regulars against fresh opponents. Both teams worked well together here and both getting lots of offense and I agree with Phil in that the Bodies were a fun little team. Lots of great punches thrown by both teams and Dundee/Lawler both played FIP in separate falls. Jerry Stubbs as Masked Superstar interfered after both falls but it really didn’t hurt the match for me. This goes forward. Mid-America Heavyweight Title: Koko Ware © vs. Harley Race (10/7/85) This is JIP with Harley getting the win. Interesting matchup here and a great finish. Then we get the Jerry Lawler Show for 10/20/85 featuring the Armstrongs and Stubbs as the Masked Superstar.

July 29, 200817 yr comment_5433343 I love the Jerry's Kids video. EXTRA in the videos section. Also, I have this disc labeled as 10/20/85 which is why it was driving me crazy. Either Bix labeled it wrong, I labeled it wrong to Phil or Phil gave the wrong date.
