Posted July 5, 200817 yr comment_5432673 “Golden Boy” Chick Donovan vs. Koko Ware (5/23/81) This was a damn good wrestling match as both men traded holds and looking good doing it. Koko threw some great dropkicks and that forced Chick to throw the first punch at 7 minutes in. Chick would then lock in a figure-four for the win. This was super fun and goes on the block.
August 1, 200817 yr comment_5433495 Chick Donovan vs. Koko Ware, 5/23/81 (CWA 5/30/81) - Nothing bad about this match at all but nothing really memorable either except Koko’s sweet dropkick and a Donovan win. I think at this point, for a 7 minute TV match to move forward, it has to be really memorable and this wasn’t. No vote.
August 9, 200817 yr comment_5433820 I actually really dug this, liked how they moved from scientific to brawling, Koko had awesome looking headscissors and dropkicks, and Donovan took a great looking backdrop bump. Lets keep this in the mix
