Posted July 5, 200817 yr comment_5432681 The Pretty Young Things who were faces at this time come out celebrating their newly won Southern Tag Titles after they beat the Zambuie Express (Mr. Elijah Akeem & Mr. Kareem Muhammad) at MSC on 2/6/84. (2/11/84) Rick Rude comes out with Angel to the Fabs music for his TV debut and this is great stuff. Rude then squashes David Johnson until Austin Idol runs him off. Definite extra. (2/11/84) Lawler comes out with the reformed Harley Davidson and this is fun stuff. (2/11/84) Dirty Rhodes then comes out for his debut. (2/11/84) Hart & Rude come out for another promo (2/18/84) Then we get clips of Dirty/Harley vs. Bruise Brothers from MSC on 2/13/84. Zambuies come out for a promo with the Southern Tag Titles they regained. (2/18/84) JJ Dillon sends in a taped promo regarding his feud with Lawler. Southern Heavyweight Title: Jerry “The King” Lawler © vs. King Konga (2/18/84) Konga is green as grass but Lawler makes this a fun match doing his normal stuff. Zambuies would run in for the DQ as the other heels would hold off the locker room so the faces can’t come out. Lawler is left bloody until the faces can get to the ring. Next is the video of Jos LeDuc holding a car with his legs and this is extra material. Jimmy Hart announces that Randy Savage is now a member of the First Family then Savage makes his debut in WMC Studios and this is extra material. (2/25/84) “Macho Man” Randy Savage vs. Ken Raper (2/25/84) Savage looks great. Idol comes out talking about Angel admiring him from afar and we get an Idol workout video to Holding Out For A Hero by Bonnie Tyler. Rude then comes out with Angel pissed about Idol mouthing off so Idol comes back out wanting Rude to fight him. Rude then cowers to Idol so Austin slaps him in the face. Rude would leave but comes back demanding an apology saying he won’t come back until it happens. This was fun. Dirty & Harley then come out for another funny promo. Zambuies & Konga would then come out with Elijah talking about all their enemies. Jackie Fargo sends in a taped promo regarding why the Fabs aren’t around and said that they didn’t want to work in the South anymore. Fargo basically buries them here and says that he has 2 guys in mind to replace them. Extra material. (2/25/84) LeDuc then comes out talking about getting rid of all the faces. Dirty & Harley come out grabbing a kid from the crowd and they cut another funny promo. (3/3/84) Jimmy Hart comes out and announces that the Bruise Brothers are dead and this is a slam dunk extra. (3/3/84) Next we get clips of Idol/Lawler/Rich vs. Konga/Zambuies from MSC on 2/27/84 and this kickstarts the Hart/Dillon feud as Dillon wants Lawler & LeDuc to team up to face the Zambuies. Lawler & LeDuc both show trepidation about this. Idol comes out talking about the Rude/Angel situation and Rude sends in a video featuring a sleeping Angel dreaming about Rude. This is quite the video. Angel then comes out with a handwritten apology for Idol to sign and he tears it up. The Pretty Young Things (Norvell Austin & Koko Ware) vs. The A-Team (3/3/84) This immediately goes to a DQ as the heels spraypaint them yellow before Idol, Lawler, & Bugsy run them off.
