Posted July 8, 200817 yr comment_5432726 Dundee comes out in a suit and cuts a great promo about being the Southern champ and brings out Masked Superstar (Jerry Stubbs) as his new ally along with announcing that Mega Maharishi is coming. (10/26/85) Scott & Steve Armstrong vs. Jimmy Beale & Wayne Blaylock (10/26/85) Squash. Masked Superstar (Jerry Stubbs) vs. Koko Ware (10/26/85) Koko works on the left arm early and takes a different approach than normal in working on the mat which Koko didn’t normally do which Lance pointed out on commentary. Superstar would try and counter out but Koko would use some good counters himself to keep the pressure. Superstar would finally break free by cornering Koko but Koko would go right back to work on the arm as Dundee comes out to commentate. Superstar finally got on the offensive and uses power moves to weaken Koko’s neck and back especially with a toss on the top rope. Koko would shake it off though and started firing punches then went for an O’Connor Roll but Superstar would push him off into Calhoun. Koko then hit a great dropkick before Dundee hopped on the apron letting Superstar recover for his own O’Connor Roll and used the tights to get the win. This was a damn solid TV match that went almost 10 minutes and is a definite nomination. Fabs send in a taped promo on Dundee & Superstar that is great and a just as great response by Dundee calling the Fabs steroid freaks. This is extra material. Next they show the Tush video on the Fantastics hyping their coming in. Tom Prichard & Pat Rose vs. Jerry Garmon & Benny Trailer (10/26/85) Squash. Tom Renesto sends in a taped promo regarding his match with Lawler on 10/28/85 at MSC and Lawler sends a taped retort where he namechecks Jody Hamilton as the other Assassin with Tom. Jerry Bryant vs. Jim Jameson (10/26/85) Bryant debuts the Memphis Vice gimmick and looks good. Koko Ware & Candi Divine vs. “Superstar” Bill Dundee & Sherri Martel (10/26/85) Koko is replacing Tojo Yamamoto because he wants revenge on Dundee from earlier. The women start brawling from the bell and Sherri makes Divine look good which is something because Candi sucked. Dundee & Koko would get tagged in and this was great stuff as both men were awesome with Dundee being a total chickenshit and Koko throwing great punches. Candi would get shots in on Dundee and Koko would get to spank Sherri so that added to the fun. It would soon break out into a 4-way brawl but would get back to normal as Dundee started controlling the match with help from Sherri at times as well. Koko would make a comeback and was tremendous beating on Dundee before the women tagged back in but Superstar would run out to get Koko to the floor as they went to a break never showing the finish of the fall with Dundee hitting Candi. The 2nd fall would start with more of the same from the 1st as Dundee would hit Candi again but Koko would follow up by jacking his jaw numerous times. Koko would then go back to his arm strategy from earlier against the Superstar but Dundee would fight back turning it into a slugfest that Koko would win. The ladies would then come back in with Candi slingshotting Sherri into Dundee for a nearfall and the men would tag back in but the TV time would soon run out. This was very fun for what it was but I don’t think it’s a nomination. Next is the Jerry Lawler Show for 10/27/85 with Lawler at Cleveland Browns practice where he was dickriding his boys.
