Well, let me know who is sending me what and lets get this done. I know everyone has read the thread.

 

As for some other business, Phil was right. The VHS transfer of the AWA Handheld 7/10/89 actually looks better than Jeff's DVD transfer.

 

I also picked up a trade for masters of the AWA on ESPN Classics matches so we will have those in better VQ as well.

If nobody else stepped up yet I'll throw them into the stuff I'm gonna do for you this week-early next week.

Is there anyway you can expedite the process so I can have them by the weekend? We are going to choose the final match listing this weekend.

I'm finishing up that bulk w/ Jose/Brent/Kevin tonight, should be able to do your stuff tomorrow and will try to get it out Priority Thursday. Gimme a want list of what you were asking for and I'll throw in the other stuff I found/forgot earlier.

Then I needed the tapes that had VQ upgrades for some matches that Phil mentioned. Hopefully, Phil remembers what matches I am talking about.

OK, do you have any idea what video upgrades Phil is taking about? I know he mentioned it in some posts.

I think he means the better quality FNN/Score stuff. All of the nominated FNN/Score stuff from previous DVDs is in better quality on the DVD I'm sending you (which also has the Lawler-Kerry match that I nommed)

I don't have a 2/24/85 Arena TV that I can find. Plus, if the match date is right it should be 2/31 as the airedate since Arena TV aired 13 days after the MSC show usually.

For the Empty Arena match I spliced the Funk cursing opening and the 24/7 version (which is otherwise complete) together. I will include it in the same package as everything else on its own disc, or since it takes up a little more than 1/8th of a DVD I can throw in some other matches or whatever that you might want.

Actually wait the "My eye" has one bleep on 24/7 but the best DVD copy I have is your Lawler comp where it cuts off with 30 seconds left. I'll see if I can cut that in from the uncensored one but if not, are you cool w/ just the opening being unbleeped and the one "My Goddamn eye" having "Goddamn" bleeped but with perfect VQ after Lawler comes out?

Done, adding in the intro from the TV version and Lance's intro where he's smoking (is that on Bob's or just the TV version? I can't remember.)

Ok, done, finally. Everything is edited together seamlessly, similar to how I edited the MSG Boot Camp Match together from 2 sources on my Sheik-Slaughter comp. The TV footage is pretty fuzzy but Lance smoking because "he thinks it'll never air" is awesome.

Sounds good. I'll trust your judgment for that. Now is the time for the real fun when I start putting together the extras and bothering you for "Best VQ"

 

Also, Kris nominated the Arena 2/85 match. Phil didn't like it so unless someone can locate it then it probably won't go on anyway.

Either way the bulk of the match is perfect VQ so I think we can make sacrifices for the pre-match

1. I can send you the tapes and copies of the DVDs so you can judge for yourself and you can make the transfer of the tapes into DVD and send me copies.

2. I can convert the tapes myself and you can just take my transfers.

3. You can just take copies of the DVD.

What about the tapes makes them look better than the DVDs?
