Posted August 6, 200817 yr comment_5433675 December 9, 1982 Masked Superstar & Dick Murdoch vs. Killer Khan & Tiger Toguchi (MSG Tag League '82) Always fun to see Murdoch and the Superstar, but this wasn’t much. Toguchi is dull as dirt, and while it picked up a but when Khan tagged in, it never passed into good, I did dig Murdoch elbowing Khan in the ear. Double Countout finish which is a sentence I should cut and paste, as much as I am going to use it here. Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Dino Bravo Fujinami tries here but Bravo stinks, mixes shitty Adrian Adonis style overbumping with really sloppily executed suplexes. For Canadian gangsters he was clearly not as good as Bruiser Bedlam. Guess the finish Andre the Giant vs. Hulk Hogan Man did Hogan blade a lot in New Japan. This was a bunch more on the mat then I remember their other match being. Neither guy seemed to be doing a ton their but I did like Andre biting Hogans fingers. Finish with Hogan coming back into the ring and bodyslamming Andre was cool. I am going to go no with a nom here, as I think remembered liking their other match better. I think I need to watch all of them back to back. Antonio Inoki vs. Adrian Adonis This was pretty fun, I really dug the leg work early with Inoki really stretching the shit out of Adonis’s knee. We get your crazy Adonis bumping, and while Adonis’s bumping bugs me a bit but I loved him getting knocked and flipped back into the tying of the rope. Inoki’s punches aren’t very good, and this seemed like it ended a bit abruptly, but lets move this on.
