Posted August 6, 200817 yr comment_5433676 This was pretty fun, I really dug the leg work early with Inoki really stretching the shit out of Adonis’s knee. We get your crazy Adonis bumping, and while Adonis’s bumping bugs me a bit but I loved him getting knocked and flipped back into the tying of the rope. Inoki’s punches aren’t very good, and this seemed like it ended a bit abruptly, but lets move this on. NJ Classics 136
December 10, 200817 yr comment_5436346 Good, short match with typically showy bumping from Adrian and a fairly energetic Inoki. No vote from me, however. I think this is exactly the type of thing we'll have to drop if we want to avoid a 300-match set.
August 21, 200916 yr comment_5443143 For an eight minute match to make the set, it better be a Vader-like performance and this doesn't quite make it. Adonis was overly enthusiastic in bumping. Right off the bat, he swings, misses a clothesline, leaps over the top rope and jumps up and crotches himself on the rail... without touching his opponent!!! Never did that shit in the North-South matches I liked. I really like the focus on the legs by both guys as I mark for the Indian Death lock and Adonis broke and retaliated perfectly after the hold. Really disappointed that after Adonis gets tangled in the ropes, both guys go away from the legs completely. The finish was abrupt and what was looking to be a really good match turned into a so-so match. No vote.
