This isn’t the all time legendary classic the other 10 man elimination was, but this was damn awesome in it’s own rights. The Fujinami v. Maeda stuff was especially spectacular, and I love how they have ring outs as eliminations, with Hoshino doing the sacrifice and eliminating himself and Fujiwara. Solid Nomination.

Your Fujiwara-Hoshino and Maeda-Fujinami stuff was great. The Takada-Koshinaka showdown was noteworthy as well, given that their feud was just heating up. I watched this with Phil and we agreed that this is one of the lesser elimination matches. It lacked the crazy intensity and blow-away highlights of the best ones, so it might not be safe in the end. But it certainly moves forward for now.

I thought the pre-elimination match-ups and action was just superb. Hoshino slapping the fuck out of Fujiwara until the headbutt, Takano getting damage to the leg, Takada and Kosh squaring off. Great stuff all-around. Takano trying to put Fujiwara away with traditional wrestling power moves only to tap out to the armbar was pretty cool in my mind. It was only fitting after the initial pairings that Hoshino sacrificed himself to get Fujiwara and his titanium forehead out of the picture. I think I am coming around to Phil's way of thinking in digging the ring-out eliminations. I agree with Phil, Fujinami-Maeda was completley awesome but I was digging the hell out of Takada-Koshinaka as well. as Kosh really brings out the best in Takada. I disagree with Childs that this may get dropped. This is going on.
