1. Dynamite Kid vs Kantaro Hoshino (7/4) - This was a set-up for the big match between Dynamite and Tiger Mask. I like matches in which the hated rival beats up the heroe's weaker buddy right in front of him. And Hoshino did his part with spunky hope spots. But Dynamite wasn't nearly enough of a prick in this. If he had slapped Hoshino around a bit more or pulled his head up on two counts a few times, this could've been terriffic. But really, it was just OK.

2. Paul Orndorff vs Kengo Kimura (7/4) - Squash for Orndorff.

3. Killer Khan, Riki Choshu & Masa Saito vs Antonio Inoki, Seiji Sakaguchi and ?(7/4) - I'm tempted to nominate this because it was fairly long, went to a clean finish and offered a wonderful demonstration of Choshu's army as a trios team. They really mastered the wolfpack psychology. Anytime an opponent strayed into their half of the ring, he was in trouble, sure to be pounced on by multiple guys. But the match didn't build any great drama on its own terms. Given the sheer volume of high-end candidates, it probably falls short.
