Killer Khan vs Andre the Giant (1/6) - This might have been Andre's best singles match from the tour. Crowd really got behind Khan as an underdog and Andre slapped him around pretty good. Best thing about heel Andre was the booming laugh he'd let out when doing something really nasty. Anyway, it was a pleasant diversion but not worthy of nomination. 2. Akira Maeda & Antonio Inoki vs Big John Studd & Hulk Hogan (1/6) - They worked a storyline of distrust between Studd, who wanted to cheat, and Hogan, who wanted to play it straight. Mostly, the two of them beat on Maeda while Inoki watched from the apron. Finally, Hogan got tired of Studd and took him out with a lariat to hand the natives a win. Again, amusing enough but nothing special. 3. Tiger Mask vs Fishman (12/6) This was from Mexico City and pretty clipped so we'll have to check out the Classics version. But these two didn't seem to have great chemistry. 4. El Canek vs Tatsumi Fujinami (12/6) - Also from Mexico City and also quite clipped. Seemed better than the previous match but hard to tell -- probably not worth nominating. The 6/24 episode ended with lots of highlights from the previous month, but we've covered those in past eps.
