New Japan Pro Wrestling TV (October 7th 1983)

 

1. Akira Maeda & Seiji Sakaguchi vs Big John Studd & Paul Orndorff - Solidly worked tag with Studd and Orndorff actually showing some nice chemistry as a heel team. But nothing really pushed it out of the pack.

 

2. Yoshiaki Yatsu vs Brian Blair - JIP. I'm glad Yatsu has showed up, but he and Blair didn't seem to have very good chemistry.

 

3. Antonio Inoki & Tatsumi Fujinami vs Riki Choshu & Animal Hamaguchi - This was about half of a really good tag match, with all four guys seeming fired up and the crowd hot to see Inoki and Choshu square off. But it was really just a stage-setter for a big brawl between factions. As such, it can't hang with the best tag matches involving these guys.
