Bad News Allen/Abdullah the Butcher vs. Riki Choshu/Animal Hamaguchi - Barely any of this shown here, though it sounds like the ending felt abrupt in the full version anyway. 2. Dynamite Kid vs. Isamu Teranishi - One thing I'll say for bulky Dynamite is that he's a very believable ass-stomper when matched with other juniors. With the shaved head, he looked like the leader of a white supremacist gang in a prison flick. I suppose he had the personality for it too, but I digress. I agree with Will that the ending sequence was good, but it was a small percentage of the match. Of all the juniors, Teranishi might have been best equipped to go blow-for-blow with Dynamite, but he didn't seem like much of a threat in this one. So it felt like a prolonged squash with a few nifty sequences tossed in. No vote from me. 3. The Cobra vs. Kuniaki Kobayashi - This was a mess, no doubt, but a highly enjoyable one. Kobayashi set a frenetic tone with his pre-bell attack. I also loved the viciousness he showed after Cobra busted him open. And Cobra's highspot sequence was fun after he went back on offense. He was unorthodox enough that I'm occasionally unsure if he screwed up a move or simply did it differently than anyone else would have. Despite the lack of cohesion, this match had a lot of fire and connected with the crowd. I seem to remember their August match being more spectacular, so that might push this out. But for now, I'll vote yea. 4. Dusty Rhodes/Buddy Rose vs. Antonio Inoki/Tatsumi Fujinami - Rose was the star of this with his bumping and strutting. Episode ended before the finish and they failed to show the ending in the credits like they usually did. Sounds like it wasn't anything special anyway.
