The action was fast and furious with all four men beating each other’s asses throwing bombs on each other. We would get double claw holds but Gordy would launch Kevin over the top rope but it didn’t matter as he came back in blazing. David & Buddy would get involved for the DDQ and once again even with a crappy DDQ finish, this is a nomination.
September 28, 200817 yr comment_5434884 4. Michael Hayes + Terry Goryd vs Kerry + Kevin Von Erich - Texas tornado match This is just an all out kick ass brawl. Just kicks, punches, and high impact stuff. The crowd popped huge for the dbl claw spot. The match gets thrown out when David and Roberts get involved and it's just out of control. I liked this match, but it falls short for a nomination. We are going to have a ton of this matchup. To me this was one of their lesser ones. It was still a ton of fun though.

June 9, 201015 yr comment_5451786 Texas Tornado: Terry Gordy & Michael Hayes vs. Kerry & Kevin Von Erich, 3/18/83 (Romdam 16) - Some random violence going on here. The Birds do some SICK double teams. First a gutbuster drop and then a backbreaker drop. Fucking nuts. Too bad Kevin isn’t known for his great selling. He is known for some stiff shots and you can feel them here. Lots of throwing people out by the Birds so they can do the double teams. The biggest problem I have is that the two teams seem to be telling two different stories mainly due to Kevin not selling shit especially after the two sick busters early on. Add a bad ending with David getting involved and again I am going with shoe. At some point, we have to be content with the ten matches between the two teams that will go on so I can see leaving this off as well.
