Strategically speaking, New Japan would likely take longer to get done, but also buys us more time. Plus, the variety of doing a Japanese set instead of three territories in a row, plus we'd get a really quick turnaround between New Japan and Texas, which should make folks happy.

Yeah, I have been slacking as well. I'll compile a list of the last batch of stuff I need from Dan and we'll get a move on. I don't actually mind if Texas finishes first since the idea is to be ahead on the sets. If Texas is in the bag once NJ is finished then every category after that is automatically ahead. The main thing is that I end up spending NJ money and comp money on other categories anyway so it will all work out.

I've pretty much watched what I have, though I can pick off individual matches from Will's Hansen set and a few other sources.

I have a big pile of stuff to send you Phil (whatever you don't have from NJ TV seasons '82-'87) once you're ready for it. And I still need to watch the stuff that Will sent you, though I won't need to watch most of the Classics covering '82-'87.

I talked to Dan tonight and he is ready to send out the next batch of NJ.

Good news in that we only need about 15 more episode (8-10 discs) of original classics. After that, I need to fill the Sky-A holes in my collection but can do that the same order as the old classics. After that, it will primarily be upgrading VQ through commercial tapes and possibly grabbing some handhelds if a date stands out that is not on the classics. We are actually not that far from completion ourselves in New Japan, at least from a collection standpoint.

For Texas, I am working on grabbing the rest of my missing Romdam footage and Jack said he had about 100 TX tapes to go through for footage. On top of that, Dan said he has about 35 BETA masters being sent soon to knock off the WCCW Legends.

Are we covering 1989 with Classics or is there a full run of TV?
