Irwin was fine as well and hung with Adams for the whole match. Both men would hit their kicks and both managers would interfere with Hart getting the better of it hitting Irwin so Adams could win. Like I said earlier a solid match that goes on the block.

December 9, 200915 yr comment_5446305 Irwin was really fired up here. He can be erratic, but definitely gave a strong performance here. Adams was great as usual. Loved him frustrating Irwin with his speed and agility early on. Irwin's running kneedrop was brutal. Finish looked a bit off to me. No way the ref didn't see Hart interfere. Still, it was an awesome match, and I'll second the nomination. [Romdam 30]
June 4, 201015 yr comment_5451634 Early on, I was so bored. I am not opposed to chinlocks or sleepers but Christ, I had a hard time not straying especially with as much wrestling as I have watched today. The finishing run was really hot and we even had some close calls which you don't see much in early 80s wrestling. Slow start and hot finish would put this on a Chris Adams comp but not a Best of WCCW set.
