He sold every choke and clubbing forearm like death. And the crowd hung on every blow when he rallied and tried to chop Andre down. He threw in a great tease of the scorpion. And the crowd was nutty with frustration when Andre's manager distracted the ref while Fujinami pinned him with a sunset flip. Perfect David vs. Goliath stuff and a nomination.

Fujinami was selling the pounding like a champ but the best Andre matches have him taking big bumps when you don't expect them, a nice mix of power offense (which was absent here) and a faint glimmer of hope that the little guy can pull the upset. All of that was absent from this match. Add the referee who let Andre go at will But cut Fujinami off everytime he wanted to throw a punch. By the time Fujinami attacked the referee, I just wanted the match to end. No vote. I think the shorter cat and mouse Andre-Fujinami was much more engaging and had a more satisfying conclusion to boot.
August 13, 200916 yr comment_5442756 I am sort of in the middle here, I liked the hot crowd and Andre's suplex was cool, but I thought the finish kind of blew, and Andre really couldn't bump hard anymore. I think you might have to use one of your picks to get this on Childs
