Yoshiaki Fujiwara/Kengo Kimura (2/9/89) I adore all of these guys (well I tolerate Kengo Kimura) but this never really got going the way a title match should. Really felt like an undercard match where they did some stuff, but nothing made it stand out. Pretty disappointing. Tatsumi Fujinami v. Big Van Vader (2/9/89) I enjoyed this, Vader is fun and Fujinami is great at working American monsters, still it only goes about 9 minutes and I imagine both guys will have matches that will feel more epic and worthy of inclusion on a disc, so I am going no. Antonio Inoki v. Bam Bam Bigelow (2/9/89) This was pretty damn great, as you had Inoki getting worked over with big power moves, and Inoki ripping up Bigelows arm. Cool arm selling by Bigelow. Cool post match Vader beat down too. Nomination Strong Machine + George Takano v. Kuniyaki Kobayashi + Shiro Koshinaka (3/89) Ridiculously fun workrate tag, I am really enjoying NJPW ROH style tags more then I am enjoying NJPW ROH style singles. Takano and Strong are really killing Koshinaka and Kobayashi here. Some selling issues, but I could actually seeing this finishing high on peoples ballots.
