Ridiculously fun workrate tag, I am really enjoying NJPW ROH style tags more then I am enjoying NJPW ROH style singles. Takano and Strong are really killing Koshinaka and Kobayashi here. Some selling issues, but I could actually seeing this finishing high on peoples ballots.

Brisk, crisply worked, everyone looked good. Just what you want from an all-action, midcard tag. I expected Kobayashi and Koshinaka to thrive in this setting, but Takano and SSM surprised me. This should go forward.

I may have to rewatch this later but I am actually leaning no on this on. I cannot argue that the execution of the match was pretty good and both teams worked hard but I just didn't care about either team. It wasn't until the Doomsday Device that looked like it crippled Koshinaka that the match held my interest. maybe the other matches with Machine and Takano will make me want to revisit this one down the line. Mechanically this was fine but emotionally, I didn't care about the match.

BTW, I think the date on this is actually 2/25/89.
