This set covers a lot of old ground, so I'm just going to tell you what's where and comment on the handful of things I haven't seen elsewhere.

Disc 1

Elimination Match: The Von Erichs & Iceman King Parsons vs. The Freebirds & Jimmy Garvin

This was some wild stuff. Great, out-of-control brawl that definitely had that Memphis feel Kris was talking about. Agreed with him that it's one of the best matches I've seen so far, though I wouldn't go so far as to say it's the best, but definitely in my working top 5.

Brass Knuckles Title Match: Terry Gordy vs. Kerry Von Erich

Texas Heavyweight Title Match: David Von Erich vs. Jimmy Garvin

Hair vs. Hair Match: Iceman King Parsons vs. Buddy Roberts

NWA World Heavyweight Title Match: Harley Race vs. Kevin Von Erich

Disc 2

American Tag Team Titles Match: Michael Hayes & Terry Gordy vs. Kerry Von Erich & Bruiser Brody

"OK match, would've been better if it weren't built around Brody getting the hot tag. Brody is overrated as hell, but he was basically fine here. Still, for flawed heavyweight asskicker who's weaknesses can be hidden by having him work off of the hot tag, not sure Brody delivers in that role appreciably better than BJ Whitmer."

JIP, not even sure if there was a match here or what.

David Von Erich Interview

This is from the aftermath of the "Garvin and Sunshine are David's valets for a day" angle, and should be included right along with that as an extra.

Kevin Von Erich vs. Jimmy Garvin

There were two non-title Kevin vs. Garvin matches leading up to their awesome title match that I both really liked, but thought were a little short for nomination. The first one got nominated anyway, and I was willing to back that, as it was pretty awesome and a good lead-in to the title match. This is much the same, and I might be tempted to nominate it and see if it gets similar support.

All of these I've covered, but I decided to revisit 2 bouts. The 1st being:

Elimination Match: The Von Erichs & Iceman King Parsons vs. The Freebirds & Jimmy Garvin

I passed on this the 1st time around. I was wrong. This bout had a lot of good action in it. Some of the things still bother me like dog pile finishes, and the fast eliminations of 1st 4 wrestlers. Their was a lot of good booking in this though like Kevin winning it since he has the next title bout. Having Kerry last as long as he did was good since his tag bout was the 2nd big bout on the big Reunion card. I also dug Roberts elimination of Parsons since Roberts had been putting over Parson's in the build attempting to make him a star. Overall a good bout that I would have liked at least another 7-10 minutes. Still this should go on.

The 2nd bout I revisited was

The Von Erichs vs. Michael Hayes, Buddy Roberts, & Jimmy Garvin

I still didn't feel this. It was solid but not a nom. If Garvin replaced Hayes instead of Gordy we might have gotten a better bout. Whatever though still a no to me.
