DVD #25

11/29/85 (taped 11/29) - Matches also appear on NJ Classics 216

Gotoh/Hoshino vs. Pogo/Nagasaki - Glorified squash.

Kengo Kimura/Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Masked Superstar/Dick Murdoch - This featured one of those virtuoso Murdoch performances in which he brought enough stooging, bumping and violence for everyone in the match. He actually invented a move specifically to set up NJ double countouts. He kind of bounced his ass on the second rope and did a backflip over the top, pulling his opponent with him the whole time. Who else would create a move specifically to facilitate one type of ending in one promotion? Maybe Dundee? Anyway, Fujinami and Kimura gave high-energy performances as well, and Superstar played his role perfectly, staying out of Dick's way but popping in for really vicious clotheslines when needed. I loved this match. Nomination.

Inoki/Sakaguchi vs. Jimmy Snuka/Bruiser Brody - The ending wasn't shown, but it's on Classics and looked like it was headed for a nomination.

12/6/85 (taped 12/6) - Matches also appear on NJ Classics 217 and 218

Superstar/Dick Murdoch vs. Jimmy Snuka/Bruiser Brody - Brody and Murdoch had excellent chemistry, but this match kind of petered out instead of building to something cool.

Inoki/Sakaguchi vs. Kimura/Fujinami - Another excellent tag match without a televised ending. Again, it's on Classics and looked like a strong candidate for the set.
