I had never seen this match pimped anywhere, but it was a pretty great use of the six-man to build the UWF-NJ feud. It featured cool interactions between Kimura and Takada, Maeda and Fujinami and Fujiwara and, well, everyone. They delivered just enough to make you want to see more of all of these match-ups before blowing up in the inevitable out-of-control brawl. Just a really fun match that I think has to go on the set.

The early portion was solid if unspectacular with Fujiwara-Fujinami being the standout match-up. After everyone went their rounds, it continued to be the top matchup as I enjoyed their battle over applying armbars to each other. Phil and I were talking about things that happen way too often in New Japan matches and the headlock into back suplex is another one I wish they would give a rest. First happens with Fujinami-Fujiwara and shortly afetr with Kosh-Takada. I was wishing for Maeda to get fired up and when he kicks Fujinami to the mat, it felt like it was about time. I can't believe you two aren't sucking Fujiwara's cock more here because him and Fujinami were head and shoulders above everyone else in the match. It was the one match-up where they weren't going through the motions and the crowd was completely jacked to see them go toe-to-toe. Even the end run, with Fujiwara breaking up the rack with a headbutt to the gut. This isn't slam dunk territory, and the ending could have been better but I'll support the nomination largely because Fujinami-Fujiwara was really great from beginning to end as the aces for their team.
