Posted October 27, 200816 yr comment_5435398 “Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich vs. “Gentleman” Chris Adams (1/11/85) We Are The Champions blares over the speakers as Adams comes to the ring which was awesome. This had a great start ending with Adams hitting a tremendous Superkick on Kerry sending him to the floor as Adams posed. Both men would soon trade sleeper holds as the match but Kerry would place Adams on the top rope as he had his version on and punched him off the top rope sending him to the floor. The back and forth action would continue before Adams would send Kerry to the floor and would hit an awesome tope suicida sending Kerry into the fans. Adams would go after Kerry as he came back into the ring but Kerry would lock in a backslide to get the win in a flash fashion. Kerry then locked in the claw on both Adams & Hart before Hart’s final solution would show up in the One Man Gang who would destroy Kerry. The match was great fun and so was the angle afterwards. This is another nomination.

Adams gets a lot of mileage with the headlock/chinlock variations. Adams takes a huge bump from the top corner to the floor off a KVE discuss punch The Tope' suicida that Adams bust out was hot.. I love how Adams will bust out a flashy move and get even more heat from the crowd. Both men worked hard and I'll cosign the nom.
December 13, 200915 yr comment_5446377 I dug Gary Hart providing actual useful advice at ringside. I also dig how Kerry's backslide really feels like a legit finisher after he won the World Title with it. This was a blast, and it should move forward. [Romdam 37]
