Another great all UWF match, there was some especially awesome shit with Fujiwara and Maeda which is one of my all time favorite match ups. Fujiwara wrecking Takada was pretty great too The finish was a Yamazaki v. Takada match up, which normally I don’t care for, but it worked fine for the end. Fujiwara was great showing emotion at the end too.

Another excellent match from the UWF crew. The Fujiwara-Maeda section stood out most, though compared to their singles match three days earlier, the violence seemed modest. It felt like a big step for Yamazaki when he got the win over Takada. I didn't mind the sudden nature of the fall, because that works best when it's an underdog catching the more established guy off guard. The work between those two was good, not great. Anyway, it's a yes vote, and I probably liked it more than their 5/25 match.

All four guys were on point early on. When Maeda had Fujiwara cowering in the corner, I was yelling at the TV, "Don't fall for it!!! Protect your leg!!!" Sure enough, whenever they matches up, they played on that theme of Fujiwara smelling blood and grabbing Maeda's leg. This match had some of the nastiest strikes on the set from all four guys. The ending came a little out of nowhere but overall, another solid nomination.
