Posted October 30, 200816 yr comment_5435441 “Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich vs. One Man Gang (5/5/85) Gary Hart must be handcuffed to Fritz Von Erich and if Gang loses then he must get his head shaved for life. The crowd at Texas Stadium isn’t as big as it was the last year but still a good sized crowd nonetheless. Kerry was fired up here on offense but Gang would keep the pressure on him with Kerry trying to apply the iron claw but Gang cutting him off. Kerry starts firing the punches including some discus punches followed up with a dropkick that puts Gang in the ropes. Kerry would then lock on a sleeper but Gang would drop him head first on the top turnbuckle. The fireworks would go down on the floor with Fritz keeping Hart in check as Kerry got the iron claw on Gang but he would get to the ropes thus breaking the hold. Kerry would then get a slam on Gang but somehow Kerry fell forward on impact and Gang rolled him up for a nearfall. Gang would then slam Kerry and went for the 747 but Fritz tripped him up with Kerry covering him for the win. Hart would get his head shaved after the match not without a struggle. This was a great fun and Kerry was on fire here so this definitely moves forward.
November 19, 200816 yr comment_5435822 Kerry Von Erich vs One Man Gang - Texas Stadium I use to think the OMG was the coolest gimmick. OMG was one of the great monster heels who lost his aura once VKM cut his balls off in the WWF. Gang does take some tremendous bumps for a man of his size. The bump off the 3 discuss punches was gold. This was good stuff, The payback trip that lead to the finish from Fritz was great. Hart gets a haircut that he kept until he passed away. Overall, the match and post match was great stuff and a nomination.
February 13, 201015 yr comment_5447805 I love Andre the Giant, but no fat guy wrestler gets caught in the the ropes better than the Gang. This is a good match, but Kerry dominates practically the whole thing, and Fritz cheats to win. I'm honestly not sold on it as a nomination. The post-match stuff would definitely be extra material, but I have to say "no" to the match proper.
May 26, 201015 yr comment_5451321 Agreeing with SLL... Kerry Von Erich vs. One Man Gang (Parade of Champions) - Gary Hart is handcuffed to Fritz. Early on, Gang dominates and gets Kerry in the bearhug but Kerry fights for a claw. Pretty sweet as Kerry hits three discus punches in order to finally get the big man off his feet. Then Kerry jumps on his back with a sleeper. Gang kills my good vibe with an extended chinlock. Kerry tries to fight out of it but there seems to more action going on with Fritz and Hart than in the ring. Just when they start picking up momentum in the ring, the camera will break away to Hart and Fritz missing several moves in the process. Really freaking annoying. Gang goes for a falling headbutt/splash, misses and Kerry gets the pin. Man, I don’t think should go on the set. Entertaining match but I remember these two guys having a really great match. This isn’t it.
