Good junior title match though they didn't blend their shoot and pro styles as well as, say, Takada and Koshinaka did in their best matches. Instead, each section felt clearly delineated as a Tiger offense section or a Takada offense section. Takada was generous, though, in giving Tiger lots of room to show off his stuff. Good ending too, as Tiger fought desperately to block Takada's Dragon suplex, only for Takada to scramble his brains with a high kick and hit the suplex anyway. Not a high-end juniors match but worth a look for further discussion.
August 23, 200916 yr comment_5443267 I was digging Tiger working on Takada's leg but Takada shakes it off to kick him in the chest ten times to show it doesn't mean shit. I also thought there was a lot of Takada matwork which I am not a fan of. Work the arm, work the leg, work for the sake of work. The stretch run was really good though with the two piledrivers to set up the miss dive from the top rope all leading to the Takada Dragon suplex. I like the hot ending but not the match. No vote.
