But I think it needed maybe one more stanza to build into a nomination. I could see doing an extras disc of early matches by '90s stars, and maybe it could fit there? Steve Williams vs. The Barbarian - Decent power vs. power match but nothing setworthy. Antonio Inoki & Kevin Von Erich vs. Kengo Kimura & Keiji Mutoh - The match was pretty dull, but the post-match brawl wasn't. Mutoh, who had already popped a gusher worthy of the Muta Scale, seemed to irritate Inoki somehow, and Inoki went after his wounded face with hands ablazing. Kevin seemed like a weird partner for the NJ patriarch by the way, as he'd portrayed himself as a dick to all the NJ wrestlers in previous matches. Whatever. No nomination despite the engaging aftermath. 11/14/86: Antonio Inoki, Kengo Kimura, & Yoshiaki Fujiwara vs. Jimmy Snuka, The Tonga Kid, & The Wild Samoan - Totally generic match that I've already largely forgotten. Akira Maeda & Osamu Kido vs. Dick Murdoch & The Masked Superstar - This was OK but nowehere near one of the better tags involving either Murdoch or the UWF guys. No one seemed that into it. Tatsumi Fujinami & Keiji Muto vs. Kendo Nagasaki & Mr. Pogo - Just dreary stuff. Nagasaki and Pogo were among the worst semi-regular additions to NJ's roster. They didn't even cheat much in this one.
